What is bubble tea?
Hey you, bubble tea lover!  There’s a big chance you already know where bubble tea is  coming from, but let’s clear the air once more.  Bubble tea is a Taiwanese tea-based drink invented in the city Taichung in the 80’s. And do you actually know what it’s made of? If not, don’t you worry, cause we do. Most bubble teas contain a tea base that is mixed with fruit or milk, which are often added with chewy tapioca balls or fruit jellies. The ‘bubble’  in bubble tea refers to the foam created by shaking the tea, which itself is called ‘pao4mo4’ tea, meaning ‘foamy’ tea in Taiwanese.

Did you know…

… that the large, chewy tapioca or fruity balls are nicknamed with ‘boba’, which is slang for ‘large breasts’!

What’s in it for you?
Not actual big breasts in your drink tho, but you can go for any type of bubble tea that you like here at 8tea5. We serve milky bubble teas and fruity ones, which can be divided in hot drinks and cold drinks with or without toppings and boba balls. Want to know what’s in your kind of bubble tea? We listed up the main ingredients so you know what’s going through your straw when you’re sipping on your favorite drink.

Your favorite tea: fruity or milky
The base of your bubble tea is of course… tea! You can find all kind of flavors in our menu, such as strawberry, peach, lychee, green apple, et cetera, et cetera. The list can go on forever! The infused tea is cooled down and the extract of flavors really gotten into the tea. This is the base of your delicious drink.

From here on you can choose what kind of tea you want. Do you like it fruity just the way it is? Or would you like to have your drink a bit milky? If in the last case, you should order your milky bubble tea! These are mixed with milk and (fruity) flavors such as strawberry, mango, coconut and vanilla.

Time for big bobas!
After your bubble tea flavor is set, it’s time to pick the big boobs (ehh… bobas of course) who will float around in your drink. You can choose between three types of boba balls at 8tea5: tapioca, jellies and fruit pearls!

The tapioca and jellies are for the ones who love chewy consistency. Fruit pearls are translucent, slightly gummy and will burst with juice as you bite into them. Having a big heart for bobas? You can get your own box of bobas at our stores to put them in your tea drinks, shaved ice or even put them through your yoghurt to make an end about your not-so-popping breakfast. Cheers to a popping sensation during any time of the day!

Curious about the favorite bubble teas of our tearista’s? Stay tuned and you will figure out next time!

I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
